The interviews are the center of Albania Unfiltered.

Each conversation focuses on the interviewee’s own experiences, opinions, and hopes for the future. All of the people I interviewed are young people, but their perspectives still vary depending on their backgrounds, families, education, location, and personal experiences.

Some interviews focus heavily on Albanian identity and culture, while others discuss education, work, opportunities, politics, corruption, emigration, daily life, or whether they see their future in Albania or abroad.

Rather than looking for one common answer, I wanted the interviews to show disagreement. Two young people can grow up in the same country and still have completely different ideas about Albania and its future.
